PTI Airport Vestibules
The Piedmont Triad Airport Authority (PTAA) sought to upgrade PTI’s entry experience for air passengers and guests. The scope included upfitting the entry vestibules, including new automatic sliding doors, flooring, ceiling, and wall treatments. To achieve the renovation goals, the interior columns on the deplaning level were renovated to match the wood cladding on the enplaning level. Additional scope included replacing all of the carpeting in the terminal building, all six (6) escalators, and providing cladding to correlate with the aesthetics of the terminal building. The Lindsey Architecture team also coordinated with the owner and TKE for the installation and lighting controls of the new escalators.
